Hartley Relay – Sunday 11th September – Kinross Road Runners entered three teams in the annual inter-club Hartley Relay event.  The event was hosted by Dundee Road Runners at Monikie Country Park where teams were rewarded with great views over the Tay estuary as they ran laps round the reservoir. This year the event format was changed so that clubs could enter all ladies, all men’s or mixed teams as many clubs have noticed a substantial increase in lady runners since the event began.  The new format worked well and nine of the seventeen teams were all ladies teams.  Kinross Road Runners were 2nd ladies team, 2nd mixed team and the 7th men’s team.  Everybody enjoyed the post race refreshments in Monikie Village Hall.
